Bio:
I am an experienced UKCP registered and BACP accredited psychotherapist with experience working with adults, children and adolescents in a wide range of settings.
Alongside my private practice, I work as a Consultant Psychotherapist in the NHS, where I work in acute mental health services supporting adults in crisis and acute distress. I am also employed as an associate psychotherapist for a national centre of specialist expertise in the care and recovery of survivors of organised abuse. Consequently, I am experienced in completing complex psychological assessments and formulations and writing psychological reports for local authorities, specialist services, and NHS Integrated Care Boards.
Prior to these roles, I trained and worked for several leading children’s mental health charities. I am an experienced school counsellor and have worked in primary and secondary schools across London, providing therapy for children and young people aged 5-18 years, as well as parents and carers.
I also hold a BA Hons in English Literature and consequently have a keen interest in the concepts of storytelling and narrative within psychotherapy.
