Bio:

I am a Senior Clinical Psychologist and the Dual Diagnosis lead in the NHS with over ten years of experience of working in a mental health setting. I obtained a First-class degree in Psychology with Cognitive Neuroscience. Following this I completed my MSc in Psychological Research at Leicester University, followed by her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London.

I have significant experience working with young children and adolescents alongside their families. I also have experience in the assessment and treatment of mental health needs of children, young people and adults displaying complex emotional difficulties (including depression, stress, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, Obsessive – Compulsive Disorder, and phobias), and behavioural, and relational difficulties.

I am a culturally sensitive practitioner who works within a person-centred and trauma-informed framework, providing a safe, collaborative, and supportive environment for my clients to explore and develop a shared understanding of their feelings, thoughts and patterns in relationships. I am experienced in several evidence-based psychological therapies, including CBT, DBT, ACT, CFT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-focused therapies, including TF-CBT, Narrative Exposure Therapy, and EMDR. I am also trained in providing specialist neuropsychological assessments, including cognitive assessments and other diagnostic assessments for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

My specialist interests include complex trauma, personality disorders, identity, neurodiversity, and understanding the trajectory of mental health difficulties using the Intersectionality and Social GRACES framework. I have also published in international peer-reviewed journals and lecture on the MSc course at King’s College London.
