Bio:
I am a Consultant Counselling Psychologist with over two decades of experience within the National Health Service (NHS). I obtained my qualification from City University London in 2003. Since that time, I have specialised in adult mental health, with a particular focus on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, complex and developmental trauma, and attachment-related difficulties. Additionally, I have contributed to a large-scale controlled research trial, where I provided Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to individuals diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder. I am deeply committed to fostering a compassionate and secure environment for individuals to explore and address their challenges. I am trained in EMDR, Schema Therapy, TF-CBT and CFT and currently lead an NHS service dedicated to supporting veterans in Scotland.
