Bio:
Hello, I am Alexandria! I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist from the University of Southampton in 2023 and now work full time with children and adolescents in the NHS. I have clinical experience across the lifespan with a range of presentations, and in different settings such as community mental health teams, inpatient units, and third sector organisations. My passion is in attachment and trauma-informed practice, and I attempt to embed these values in every interaction to help people feel a sense of safety and being held in mind. The therapeutic relationship is key in whatever I’m doing, and I place importance on helping those I work with to feel validated and empowered by building compassionate and meaningful therapeutic relationships. As well as my core profession, I have specialist training in trauma therapies, autism assessments, and clinical supervision, and I enjoy offering consultation on formulating complex cases.
