Clinical Case Lead and Psychotherapist

Alastair is the Clinical Case Lead for our Assessment and Therapies Services and the Designated Safeguarding Officer for MCTS. He is the first point of contact for any clinical enquiries relating to our Assessments and Therapies (A+T) services (including expert witness work, autism and ADHD assessments, therapies, consultation and training) as well as for any safeguarding concerns.

An experienced Adult and Adolescent Psychotherapist, Alastair joined MCTS in October 2025. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and both a PGDip and MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy. He works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression and the impacts of trauma, using approaches such as EMDR and CBT, grounded in a strong trauma informed framework. Alastair also provides 1:1 DBT skills training to support clients struggling with emotional overwhelm.

Calm, thoughtful and highly knowledgeable, he offers clinical leadership across the A+T services and helps ensure safe, consistent and evidence based practice throughout MCTS.
