Bio

I am an experienced Psychiatrist specialising in the assessment and treatment of mental health conditions in children, adolescents, and young adults, particularly those in care home settings under complex legal frameworks like DoLS and full care orders. With expertise in capacity assessments and conditions such as learning disabilities, mental health disorders, and brain injuries, I integrate my Master’s degree in Clinical Neurology to address cases involving epilepsy, brain trauma, dementia, and functional neurological disorders. My clinical focus on neurodiversity, including ASC and ADHD, complements my work with a wide range of psychiatric conditions like psychosis, depression, and PTSD. As a former pharmacist, I bring a deep understanding of psychotropic medication, allowing me to tailor pharmacological treatments for complex mental health needs. Additionally, as a polyglot fluent in English, Arabic, French, Spanish, and Maltese, I provide culturally sensitive care and effective communication for patients from diverse backgrounds.
